BRILLIANT LIGHT POWER’S OCTOBER 26, 2016 INDUSTRY DAY
On October 26th, 2016, Brilliant Light performed an invitational public presentation by noted speakers and debuted its commercial SunCell® design. British Telecommunications executive Colin Bannon spoke about the dichotomy between profitability and availability of power and commitment to clean energy. Executive Director of Climate Investigations.org Kert Davies spoke about the disastrous consequences of continued fossil fuel usage and the dire need for a new clean energy source to avoid drastic reductions in the world’s standard of living. Dr. Mills presented the commercial SunCell® engineering design and a working unit. The cell comprised dual liquid silver metal injectors that further served as the source of electricity to cause ignition of the hydrino plasma reaction.
The liquid electrodes eliminated the ¼ inch thick tungsten bar electrodes that vaporized in seconds in the prior design run at Columbia Tech on July 20th (See here for the side view video showing 6000K plasma blackbody radiation filling the glove box; a top view video (available here) showing the melting and vaporization of the electrodes in seconds, and the picture of the vaporized cell). An excerpt of the testing of the commercial SunCell® design having refractory cell components and injection and ignition systems comprising molten electrodes engineered to last indefinitely was shown. The cell went into a self-sustaining mode. Bucknell Professor Dr. Peter Jansson presented his validation results of over one million watts of power in a volume of a coffee cup. The Chief Technology Officer of Columbia Tech John DeCarlo reported on the engineering timeline to a 100 kW commercial unit projected for field tests in the first half of 2017. Masimo Semiconductor’s Head of Business Development and New Product Commercialization Programs Brad Siskavich reported on the timeline to a commercial photovoltaic converter comprising a denser receiver array of concentrator multijunction photovoltaic cells projected to coincide with the SunCell® light source development to achieve the field test unit in the first half of 2017. Then, BrLP executive Dominic Jones presented the go to market strategy and SunCell® commercialization timeline. Presentations in PDF format are available below as well as video presentations.

Brilliant Light Power’s June 28, 2016 Fifth Public Demonstration
On June 28th, 2016, Brilliant Light performed an invitational public demonstration of its SunCell® technology to a group of distinguished attendees that spanned the spectrum of professionals. BrLP presented live demonstrations of the enormous power density and power gain by multiple methods. BrLP also presented an engineered SunCell® prototype having no moving parts that it believes is capable of producing 125 kW of electricity and is planned to be launched for initial commercialization in 2017.

Highlights of the January 28, 2016 Public Demonstration
On Thursday January 28th, Brilliant Light Power hosted an invitational public demonstration of its SunCell® technology. During the live demonstration Dr. Mills and his team of engineers successfully presented a working prototype SunCell® producing continuous high light power. During the event Dr. Mills shared historical and current details about the design of the SunCell® and its operation. The SunCell® was expected to be available for commercial use in 2017. Dr. Mills expects commercial units at volume to have a capital cost around $100 per kilowatt capacity.

Brilliant Light Power’s January 28, 2016 Fourth Public Demonstration
The units will use water as hydrogen fuel, resulting in an on-site, total generation cost of electricity of less than a cent per kilowatt-hour. The BrLP business plan promotes a leasing model for units under power purchase agreements. BrLP anticipates that SunCells® can be used to replace all power sources, such as stationary and motive sources.
- 0-38 minutes covers a technology and market overview, theory fundamentals, and a history of the evolution of the power system design.
- 38-53 minutes is a discussion of SunCell design being commercialized, the emission unlike any other light source at hundreds-of-thousands-of-watts power levels and the means to harness it as electrical power.
- 53-58 minutes is the SunCell plasma demonstration showing hundreds of thousands of watts of power of a nature that was previously only observable on the surface of the Sun and stars.
- 58+ minutes returns to SunCell hardware details.
- Q&A starts at 1 hr 27 min with a focus on design implementation.

Brilliant Light Power’s July 21, 2014 Third Public Demonstration
On July 21st Brilliant Light Power performed its third public demonstration of Generation Three SunCell technology. The system engineering for a complete generator design incorporating tested elements of the fuel ignition and fuel regeneration as well as an optical distribution and photovoltaic conversion system were presented with the announcement that BrLP’s primary engineering firm provided an estimate of 16-18 weeks to the achievement of a 100 kW electric field testable generator. The live demonstrations included a regeneration capable, high-rate continuous fuel ignition system with PV conversion. A follow up audience question and answer session was held with three BrLP validators: Dr. Nick Glumac (an energetic materials and spectroscopy expert) from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Dr. Ramanujachary (a materials expert) from Rowan University, and Dr. Joe Renick representing BrLP licensee Applied Research Associates. Dr. Glumac, Dr. Ramanujachary, and ARA have completed independent validations of BrLP technology. Dr. Glumac’s spectroscopy results confirm that commercial photovoltaic cells are well suited to convert the light power from BrLP’s SunCell into electricity.
