March 30: Today we continued to run Station 2 cell from March 27th. The input power was low, particularly in the pulsed phases. We will continue the run tomorrow.
The majority of the power was outside of the visible range. Spectral were obtained on a NIST absolute intensity calibrated spectrometer. As shown in the exemplary screenshot, two maxima in the blackbody radiation profile were observed at 260 nm which was off scale/saturated in intensity and another at 520 nm. As a comparison, the Sun has its blackbody maximum intensity at 500 nm. Human vision is responsive to the 400-700 nm wavelength range light.
